Ahmad Farhan Ishraq

Hey everyone! I’m a software engineer with experience working in early stage startups.

Currently, I work at a fintech startup based in New York, where I’ve built out an email automation pipeline. Things I’ve worked on ranges from training AI models, to using LLM’s for document classification and extraction; my work also included building out the ingestion pipeline(think tens of thousands of emails with lots of documents). Last year, I spent most of my time building out a payment system which enabled us to offer our customers a full underwriting product spanning from deal ingestion to post funding.

Prior to this, I was finishing up my Masters in Computer Engineering from NYU. During that time, I worked at a startup accelerator out of NYU Stern, and I built out a student-startup matching program based on the Gale Shapley algorithm and collaborative filtering, which is still in use today at the department.
